I was wondering how much the suspension components life is shortened with the stiffer sidewall on the low profile tires and stiffer springs and swaybars, since all of these transmit more roadshock to the Ball joints, tie rod ends, thrust bushings etc. Have any long term owners got mileage comparisons for how frequently they replace these parts before and after the large wheels, springs etc?

I have 35K after my upgrade to 235 x 45 x17 with a BMW radial 8" x 17" (the same as comes on the 540 sport) and H&R sport springs and Bilstein sport shocks with good tire ware, no regrets.
