Have been having this problem for a llloonggg time, but have always ignored it till today.

i hear this high pitched whistling noise coming from below the manifold. i can hear it very well from inside the car, (and of course when i'm bending over the engine)when the engine rev has gone down and the engine is near idle speed.

the same question was raised recently and someone asnwered to feel around under the manifold. But what should i look for? anything in particular?
