My temperature gauge is just a little bit past the halfway that normal I assume??

1991 520iA

I have exactly the same temperature reading. However, due to a reasonably significant accident a while ago I have a new radiator, hoses, fan clutch, water pump, thermostat and coolant flush. All done by a main dealer with original BMW parts.

The temp needle sat a whisker over half way before the work was done and still does afterwards. I wouldn't worry unless it creeps up further.
