Jim,

I think I got about 70K (km's - you do the conversion) When I went for rebalancing, the tire guy showed me that the front insides had just started to split (show steel-belt!) At this point, I also noticed considerably less traction. I used to take some corners fairly hard, but not much harsher driving than that (no tracks, etc.)
I was very happy at first, but I think I expectd more from them then what I got as a whole. I like my Michelin Pilot's so far though. I was told by the tire guy that the Yoko T4's are more or less for a lighter car, like a 3 series (but that doesn't explain why I saw them on an SL 300 recently, mind you, they were almost bald) I've noticed them more on 3 series cars.


Another 2 CDN cents - this is getting expensive.
