I just had mine replaced on my 89 535i. Bought it from Programa for $180 minus $60 dollar rebate when you send the old one in within 30 days of purchase. Good deal compared to 250 from a dealer, not counting installation. Bob R.


No resistor...So the sword is the problem with my blower switch not working properly??

e a Final stage unit(sword)88-90 had swords,91 to 95 sixes have resistor packs. all v8s have swords.


I have a '90 535i and I can't find the resistor for the blower switch. It has a blue top with three coils and I need to replace it.

Can someone tell me where to find it?

Help is appreciated.
