I'm in th UK, so what tyres do other UK drivers run? Just taken Falken 225/60VR15 off my '93 525i. Winter tyres and wheels on! Very disappointed with Falkens. Wearing very quickly - 2mm in 6,000 miles and I drive gently. Give very little feeling of security. Used to use NCT2 but it seems that Goodyear have ceased production of NCT range. Come next spring, what new tyres shall I fit?

1991 520iA

Inherited the car with Pirelli P6000's. Grip is good in the wet and they are wearing well i.e. 20k miles on the fronts and they still have 4mm of tread. The rear's did 11k on the front and 20k on the rear and they also have 4mm of tread.

I don't drive the car hard though.
