I just bout a 535i and I love it. I'm only now getting into all the technical issues specific to this model. I keep reading about people putting 750il thrust arm bushings on their 535i. I assume this is a good thing, but can anyone tell me why? Alsol, are they talking about the upper control arm bushing, because I can't find thrust arm bushings in the couple catalogs I have here in front of me?
Also, if I do the thrust arm bushing thing, what else should I consider ugrading, in the area of bushings and bars, while I'm at it. Is this a do it yourself kinda project? I do have some experience/ability as a mechanic (20 years ago at a Volve Shop!).
