Again, this is for 1994 model - not sure if applicable to all, but the listing is as follows:
#1 - Sensor Cancellation Switch - In the "ON" position, a tripped sensor will activate the alarm for a maximum of 10 minutes, then that specific sensor will no longer be capable of triggering the system. However all other alarm sensors will still function. In the "OFF" position, any sensor is capable of activating the alarm indefinitely. This switch is initially set at "ON" position at the factory.
#2 - Acoustical Confirmation Switch - When set to "ON" horn/siren emits chirps when arming or dsiarming. When set to "OFF" no confirming chirp however LED light still activates - This switch is set at "ON" from the factory.
#3 - Acoustical Selection Switch (SIREN/HORN) - Set at "HORN" if using horn to chirp confirmation. If your system uses a siren set to "SIREN" for a longer chirp.
#4 - Glass Breakage Sensitivity (LOW/NORMAL) - This detects sound of breaking glass - Set to "NORMAL" from factory - can set to LOW to prevent false alarms.
#5 - Trunk Input Selection Switch (POS/NEG) - According to the manual this should be set at "POS" for 5 Series sedans. For 5 Series
Touring and all other Series should be set to "NEG"
Remember to press the reset after making any changes.
Hope this helps,
