Thanks, My gear shift lights on the dash work perfectly. Its just that for me I have a habbit of looking at the gear shift(automatic). At night it would be nice to see something.

Asuuming your car is automatic, no the letters next to the shift stick dont light up. On the dash however, there is supposed to be a light that lights up telling you what gear your in, but it is burnt out or too dim to see in 90% of the people ive talked to

Mine don't and in the dark its hard to see where to shift. I know where to shift but other people who drive my car can't see.
