IMHO, You have a six year old car, its value is what you can get for it. Condition and mileage are more important then add-ons. My bet is the dealer will offer you what ever he can stand on a trade, and if he doesn't wholesale it, he'll mark it up to include the extras if they are done properly.

I was just at the dealership yesterday and I was talking to him about a new suspension for my '94 525i...He said that my car would drop in price when I go to trade it in or sell it because it wouldn't be factory "BMW"...what is everyones take on this and if that's the case, why can't I throw a 540 or ///M5 Suspension in it?
