I have the pioneer CD changer and was having the same skipping problems. I took apart the cd player and found that some of the springs that player hangs by had come un-done. You might want to take the cover off and look around.

Lately, I've noticed that my CD changer is mega skippy on even mild bumps and slightly jerky starts and stops. Is there anything I can do about it, or do I just have to deal with it?

Also, I'm experiencing the woes of having a black car. Even though most people look at it and think it looks fine, I can see all of the teeny scratches and gravel marks that have been left on body. At some point, I'm going to want to try to return the body's paint to a pristine state. Can touch-ups accomplish this, or am I going to need some zillion dollar paint job?
