I replaced them in my '95 540 and it turned out to be pretty easy to do. Bought 2 sensors from
Autohausaz for $115 ea and installed them in
about an hour (I was VERY careful and took my
time. It really should take less than 1/2 hr.)
They certainly cleared up a rough idle problem I
was having. My car had about 85k miles at the time, so you shouldn't necessarily wait until the recommended 100k point for replacement, in my opinion.
Did you do it yourself? Or should I have a mechanic do it? If you did it, how long did it take?
