I recommend that you have an auto shop with a lift take care of it. I was going to do it myself laying on the ground in my driveway. I bought the sensor and even a new wrench that could be used at different angles. All that was left was the special sensor socket. That was going to be another $12 to $15. Then I looked at the situation again and said the hell with it. I went and called a mechanic friend who just bought a garage with a lift and he charged me $25 to take care of it. Because I knew him he did it while I waited. He made it look easy especially when you have a lift. I recommend that you call around and see what some of the repair shops will charge. It doesn't have to be a BMW shop.
Did you do it yourself? Or should I have a mechanic do it? If you did it, how long did it take?
