How far are you driving the car? Generally, the 5ers tend to be a little "overcooled". Mine takes several miles to REALLY get warmed up although I do get heat out of the vents etc!

One quick test is to check your top and bottom radiator hoses. You will find the top hose hot and the bottom hose just warm to the touch.

There is an auxiliary pump behind the heater control unit. Perhaps yours is malfunctioning and you are not getting the circulation from the block to your heater core. Best way to check is to get under your dash and check the heater inlet temp vs the top hose temp.
