Hi all,

This evening, a monsoon storm came over Singapore while I was driving home. Many of the roads were flooded (very unusual in this country). There were countless cars stalled right smack in the middle of the roads! Honda, Benz, Nissan...you name them.

My old Bimmer made it out alive even tho some of the water went up to about 10 - 12 inches.

Just wanted the board's advice. After going thru something like this, are there any parts I have to check for damage.

Also, has anyone made it thru situations like that. Is there a 'mode' of driving to ensure we don't get caught with a dead engine.

Thanks!

Pete
