Turn the key to "on". Is the "check engine" light on? It should be. If it isn't your main relay is bad or you have a bad connection to the DME.

If you know where the main and fuel pump relays are located (under black plastic case, passenger side, behind shock tower) have someone try and start the car and see if you can feel them click.

Also check for power at the fuel pump fuse when trying to start the car.

I parked my 94 540i in my driveway last night. Came out this morning and tried to start it. The starter is o.k. and the engine turns but it seems like I am getting no fuel or no spark. It just will not start at all. Battery is fine and the car was absolutely fine when I parked it. It's a mystery. Any Ideas?
