According to "current BMP catalog":

Tech Tip (page 114)

"Make sure that the alternator warning light on the dash is working. If the bulb is bad, the alternator will not charge."

My light is out and doesn't start charging until 2500-3000 rpms have been reached once. This problem ran my battery down, letting it warm up yesterday morning.
