Also - search through the archives for 19-inch - some people (MelS) have gone to rims that large. (I can't get the right boolean search for 19", but I remember pics somewhere on the forum) As Bruno notes, the overall diameter is the only really important measurement for speedo readings.

What is the biggest wheel size I can put on my 95 525i with out any modifications I was told 8.5X17 is this right, also will changing to a larger wheel effect the ride or speedometer reading
