Battery question (archive)

This morning my car wouldnt start. Pretty obvious the battery is dead. I searched the archives and Interstate and Douglas are the most recommended brands. Are there any others which fit 89 525i ?
And also what spec should I get 65 or more? I dont have owners manual and not sure that old battery met the specs.
