When my 95 525i sits out in cold weather (teens or lower F), I have to push the cluth hard to the floor before it will engage or disengage. Pumping it doesn't seem to help much (and when I do pump it, it seems to hang up a bit as the pedal returns to the engaged position). I'm concerned that on a below-zero day, I might not be able to get the clutch disengaged to put the car in gear. This is very much a function of temperature ... above about 30F or so the operation seems normal.

Any ideas? Any suggestions on what to do if I am unable to disengage the clutch?
