This past weekend I did a little work on my new baby. I installed a new Metal Impellared H2O pump, but my 60K, 8 year old pump looked magnificent. It did not leak a drop and has no sign's of deterioration which leads to my question: What caused the plastic pumps to fail? Did they age prematurely without frequent coolant flushes? Did they wear with extreme use? At least now I have the piece of mind of knowing it is done and done right. Thanks for the input.
