In my opinion, all-seasons are a waste of a BMW. They don't have the dry grip and razor sharp turn-in of summer-only tires and they lack the snow and ice handling of the new high tech (e.g., Blizzak, Graspic, Guardex) winter tires.

You would be amazed by how much better a BMW drives in the summer with some dedicated summer-only tires, even less expensive ones like the Potenza RE730. And a BMW can be a fantastic handling winter car simply by adding a set of Blizzaks.

There's just no point to ever feeling uncomfortable about your BMW's ability to handle the weather. The tires are, literally, where the rubber meets the road and have as much impact on a car's handling as a cartridge has on a turntable's ability to play music. (Most of you are old enough to remember turntables, right?) :-)

Get the Blizzaks before you crash into that guardrail during the next snow storm.!
