I would assume so. I went through a emissions inspection this summer where they put the rear wheels on rollers and run the car up to 60mph. Well, the guy didn't know how to turn off the ASC, and he was trying to floor the accelerator, but the brakes kept on coming on. The ASC computer was reading that the front wheels weren't turning and tried to stop the back wheels by applying the brakes. At first, I didn't know what he was doing, I thought he was stepping on the brakes. Then he came out to ask me how to turn off the ASC. I saw that the brakes were working hard, so there is extra wear on my rear brakes/rotors.

After having my car inspected, my DSC/ABS light came on and stayed on for the rest of the day. Now I realize that it had to do with that idiot running my car on the dyno rollers without turning off the traction control!
