Blue light, whiter light, is more comfortable for the human eye in an everyday enviroment, but in our daily driving, the light output is what matters(IMHO BLUE is not worth $$$, cosmetic only).
When retrofitting the 9005 clean the lens and the reflector. You can lose between 15%-30% of your available light by having dirty optics. If your aiming was good before, leave it. Reaiming will never fill those voids. It's what we call in the industry, spill light (uncontrolled light).
I have standard 9005 retrofited into my lows. Looking for change to HO or those Weather lamps for extended life if possible. Can't justify $400+ HID yet. That by far is the best option.
