Help!!! Transmission Seals (archive)

I have posted a couple messsages regarding my Tranny program notice message. It comes on every other start. I took it to the dealer who hooked it up to a computer and found that the pressure fluctuation is going bad. I have apparently caught this at an early stage. They are recommending that I have the tranny seals replaced. Cost is $800.00 including labor. Is this a good deal? Should I try to buy the seals on my own? Help. They are set to do the work beginning tomorrow.
