tube. Bmw recommends its for all the rubber seals and hoses on the car. It preserves rubber weatherstrip and keeps the metal from freezing to it. Comes with a neat little applicator built in.If you go to the parts counter and ask for gummy flage they will know what your talking about.

Hi!
I have an annoying issue in my 92 M5, looking for some advise.
When I flip the sunvisor down, there is a flat piece of plastic you gotta slide back to expose the mirror. The piece is kinda stuck, and very difficult to move. Any recommendations on a lubricant which would not harm the plastic?
