Awhile back somebody posted about noisy injectors and talked about replacing them. I have cut them open before and failed to see what could cause excess noise. Then I started thinking about it and came up with the rubber oring seal that is used to seal the injector in the manifold. When new they are soft and absorb noise.They also isolate the injector so it doesn't really touch the manifold firmly. When they get old they get hard like bakelite plastic and probably transmit noise easier to the manifold where its magnified? Worth a try before buying new injectors anyway........
