from my thinking, i would just think it would be a simple swap. guessing you like the newer mirrors since they are not as big and are foldable? anyway, you might want to try copartfinder.com for used parts. and i agree with you, only idiots pay $500 for m mirrors. if apc ever comes out with m mirror replicas like they have for the e36, i might consider.
