I'm sorry to hear that the PL rims are discontinued; obviously I think they look great, particularly on the Touring. The Internet should be useful in attempting to track a set down.

I will continue my search for my "dream wheel". So far the PL's come closest. There are other multiple spoke wheels that look good IMHO,the Breyton Magic for example, but somehow the BBS PL really does it for me. It's a wheel that adds a lot of understated class to our cars while at the same time not screaming: "look at me!"

I noticed in a current brochure for the Touring, BMW features what looks to be a fifteen spoke wheel that is somewhat similar.

I appreciate both of your informative and useful responses. I will post a pic of my car eventually, when I learn how to do it. And me, a professional photographer who is "digitally challenged" ! :)
