If you are talking about looking at in sunlight, the displays are LCD, which means it needs to reflect the sunlight to be visible. The displays in my car seem to be different also. Probably because they are at different angles in relation to the driver. The plastic filters in front of displays are probably different also. The alpha display in the instrument pod is the clearest in my car.

Should the OBC lighting be comparable in brightness to the radio head unit? I notice the radio always easy to read, but sometimes the OBC needs a little shade applied via my right hand....
