I have jsut installed the keyless entry in my '90 535ia. Not a problem to install BUT not very reliable. What I mean by this is that I cannot pop the locks open easily all the time. sometimes they work well, other times I have to mash the button in the remote to actuate the locks. also the range is about 5 feet. hope this helps.
