Recently, I just happen to check my shocks on my car and was rather surprised to find that the front end was very soft. Thus I guess I need a new set of shocks. I was thinking I might as well change a springs also. The rear struts seem to be just fine for now. Can you please fill me in with some suggestions of various products/prices out there for a good deal. I am not looking to lower my car too much and I prefer a nice comfortable ride yet firm steering and handling. Any Idea!!!!!! Thanks

: I put Eibach Pro-Kit Springs, 1.3" lower in front and 1" lower in rear. Bilstein Sport Shocks. Ride with stock 15" wheels firmer but not objectionable. With 17" wheels added, the ride is still a bit firmer but not terrible. Feels stock on asphalt roads, but on concrete you will feel the expansion joints. No worse than my '99 Navigator. Bilstein Sport and Heavy Duty shocks have the same valving. The Sports are for lowered cars.
