Just went to the garage to check for you. The pulley is about 1/8th inch away from the hose. Matter of fact, the clamp for the hose is placed directly in line with the outer rim of the pulley and tightened down to give this clearance. Otherwise it would definately hit the hose. Hope this helps you. Let me know if I can look at something else for you. (Gives me an excuse to admire my new wheels, can't drive it though, too much damn snow.=( Jr

I wonder if my water pump had been damaged:
How close the pulley is to the hose? My pulley is touching the hose. The pulley itself is not damaged and round.
When I turn the pulley on the water pump, the pulley is always touching the hose.
How close is your pulley. Looks like a stupid question, but I need to know.
