When I bought my CD changer I figured the mounting holes were there since the wires were there. WRONG. No holes to be found. Ended up taking the rear shelf off, drilling holes, and securing with nuts and bolts. One problem. When you take the rear shelf off there is a rubber mat under it that you cannot remove easily. It will block access, but you can reach under it. Not the most fun thing to do, but it worked. I feel more secure with that than with self tapping screws.
