Yes, but it's HEAVY -- more inertia to deal with.

Trust me when I say being heavier is FAR greater than being TOO LIGHT. I had a Diahatsu Rocky before my 525i, and it weighed maybe 30 pounds, 200 with me sitting in it. It had 4wd and all that, and you hit ice, snow, rain, anything, and try to stop you went into an instant slide because there wasnt enough WEIGHT for the tires to actually dig into the snow/pavement!

And yes, I had some pretty expensive hardcore offroad mega-ultra traction tires on that sucker, and it didn't help at all. It was just too light.
