Help needed again.
I searched the archives for over an hour and can't find anything for the pin numbers of the O2 sensor at the diagnostics connector.
I've got two or three compounding problems. One is an ever present EML light, that stays lit regardless of key position. Only disconnecting the battery will eliminate it.I did find an old posting with some helpful tips for the AML.
Second, the DME is sending out a faulty O2 code, but I want to measure the voltages and be sure before I tear the exhaust mounts apart. My manual has you check the resistance at the connector. They also provide the nominal voltage but not a clue as to how to measure it.
The automatic requires a bit more work to get at the O2 sensor and it's cold lying on the ground in December.
I purchased the BMW shop manual but it doesn't include the schematics or electrical drawings. Ole boy wants another $250 for them. And I can't wait a week to ten days on a Bentley.
Anyone out there with the pin out assignments for the diag connector, that is willing to share them I would be very grateful.
Many thanks to all those who contributed in the past. The archives on this site are invaluable.
