nitrates. It was changed in 91 according to the service bulletin. I think the last time i bought some it was about 8.50 a gallon at the dealer. Its blue colored. You have high enough mileage that a head gasket was a possibility regardless though.
I guess I did not know that there was a problem with antifreeze, except that new GM crap. I have never seen a overheat on the temp gauge. The car has 135K on the clock, with no engine work til now.
