German standard are probably the best in the world. I live in the UK and them standards are crap. If you go German you're safe. Just make sure that your car has the corrrect attachement points for the Bimmer seat.

I'm looking at child safety/booster seats available from BMW in Germany. I know that UK testing/standards are as good as, if not better than ours. Anyone know how German testing compares?
