I have searched the archives and haven't been able to find much info on the either one of these. I have a 92 525i 5-speed w/ 99k miles & it is in need of shocks. I recently upgraded to 16 wheels and would like to get rid of the gap around the wheel wells. I want to lower and stiffen the suspension without sacrificing too much. I have pretty good roads around Richmond, VA.Does anyone have experience with the Bavauto springs and/or KYB shocks? How do the Bavauto compare to Eibachs? From what I have read, H&R's are a little stiffer than I want to go. Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks
Tracy
: I put Eibachs and Bilstein Sports on my '94 530i with 100,000 miles on it. It made it more firm, but not objectionable. I then put 17" wheels on it and it was a bit more firm but not bad. My wife thinks it is fine and she drives a '99 Navigator.
