Beginning Front Suspension Repairs (archive)

Here's the situation:
1. Car shudders beginning at approx. 90-100 mph. The front suspension also isn't 'tight' on potholes..seems flimsy.
2. I had the car balanced & aligned today, problem does not disappear.
3. Ordered my Bentley manual today, will begin work as soon as it gets here and I know where to begin.

Question is, where should I look....what suspension components should I order?
