Hello all..
I have a stock '95 530i 5-speed black on black, and I want to begin mods to performance and looks this summer (after CPO warranty expires). I need some advice on chips (Dinan has one for the 95 but I can't find a JC Shark), air induction changes, etc.
Has anyone ever supercharged a 530i in the US? I found a company in the Netherlands that offers a supercharger, but am skeptical.
Any good experience or advice for suspensions (Dinan stages vs. other kits) and engine treats is appreciated.
I still need to get the block checked out - any advice greatly appreciated.
Eddie

: I have a '94 530i 5-speed. I put a JC chip in it. I think I got it from Eurosport. Just about anywhere you look on the web, they do not list one for a '94 530i. Just got to call and ask. I do not know their number offhand. As far as the block situation, be sure to get it checked out. Go to www.530i.org there you will find EVERYTHING you nned to know. If it passes the first 2 tests, BMW will not pay for the leakdown test. Pay for it yourself before you hit the 6 year, 100,000 mile mark for your own piece of mind. Good luck.
