Dead clutch pedal (archive)

Help! I was flushing the clutch system the other day and now I have a problem. I opened the bleeder screw and had an assistant push the pedal but it didn't come back up off the floor. Everything was working ok before I tried to flush the old fluid out. Now I can't get it to pressure up at all. Is it air locked? Any ideas on what's wrong. Thanks.
