That's a doctored image, and pretty ugly; I saw the original, of a heavily-disguised proto 7. I've read that the new 7's interior draws heavily from that of the Z9 concept car, you might want to look for a shot of that. The interior of the Z9 looks good, but the exterior looks like it fell out of the ugly tree. Hopefully the new 7 bears to resemblance.


...it looks like it's the Detroit Auto Show that has the 7 series. The E39 folks have been talking about it on and off for a while. From the spy shots it doesn't look real exciting, but as always, it's hard to tell from spy shots. See this URL for the spy shot:
