I recently took my car to the mechanics and they had to disconnect the battery, rendering the radio /cassette useless!! Although I have the code, I do not have any idea on how to re-program it, neither does my mechanic. The BMW dealer here wants to charge an arm and a leg to do what I consider should be a courtesy service. Does anybody know the procedure for re-programming the radio after the battery is disconnected?? Please help!! Car's details are as follows:

Model - 535i

Eng. # - 41544836346KB

Chassis # - WBAHD21010BF36753

Thanks.

Muyiwa

use the 1-6 radio station selection buttons.all code #'s use #'s under 6. ex code23456.the word code should be on before you start.after a few wrong tries the system won't let you try again for a certin amount of time so get right the first time.the radio will still have all your old stations programed.if your mech. is not a bmw man find a new one.email me if you need futher info.
