Buying 89/535 (archive)

I am in the process of buying a 1989 535i. The car has 133k and is in very good shape, both outside and inside. I don't have much knowledge of the 535 but I do have a couple of things that I found wrong. I don't mind putting some money in to it but I would like to know if these problems are very costly.

1. The A/S mode button does not work (works fine in normal mode)

2. The small trip computer does not light/work, but the code button does turn off the dash display when needed.

3. The "MPG" guage does not work.

If someone could please get back to me ASAP, I have until tuesday to buy or not.
