What year of 535i and whereabouts in the Lower Mainland do you live?
My recommendations:
Vanc Auto - too much $$$ everytime (have friends that go there)
Auto West - same story.
Brian jessel - best service but also very pricey.

If your 535i is an E34, I would suggest go to Brian Stoochnow in Richmond 276-8131. He has a small shop but I have had work done there on my 89 535i and a friend takes his 735i there all the time. Rates are very reasonable and he is very honest.
My usual shop is Valley Eurotec in Abbotsford (my office is there). Again very honest guys and never sell more stuff than you need, and always advise you of potential problems. Then you make the decision. If you want to call me, send email and I will give you my contact number.
