Be sure to check the control arm bushings wich
ware quickly if stock and will give you a noticeable shimmy starting at usually 55mph
and fading out at 60mph(annoying)

To make sure I follow this... is the "control arm" the linkage leading from the lower rear of the front suspension back to the frame? (haven't examined this or any E34 closely yet...)
