My 16x8 e38 MultiSpokes also fit fine - same dimensions as Drew's CrossSpokes.

Perhaps the difference was the tire size? Drew and I are both running 225/55-16's, which may have a little less sidewall bulge. IF the 225/65's you are running had any more bulge, it might be as much as a quarter of an inch, but I think we have more clearance than that on our front shocks......
