Oddly enough, I took mine out this weekend to try and determine why it isn't working. The hook on the arm goes through the hole on the white plastic plunger. I can take a picture tonight if you still can't see it. Do you know if I can hook up a 12V power supply directly to the actuator to test it's function before I start to track down a wiring break?

'94 540i

I'm trying to fix the central locking mechanism of my trunk ('92 525i). The linkage between the actuator and the part that gets turned by the key was just dangling around. I can't figure out how the linkage is supposed to attach to the actuator... is there a piece missing? I have a

picture here.
