You have to apply considerable force to lift the front edge of the rear seat (the bottom cushion). Pull up hard, on each side. The first time I lifted my bottom seat cushions, I had to use all my strength. Lift straight up, once on each side. You can lube it up when you put it back together.

The front edge lifts, then you slide the bottom seat cushion forward to remove.

I'm not sure if it is my battery, but my car will not start. I had it jumped, and it started. Now I went to see how the battery looked and couldn't find it. Apparently, it is under the back seat. I need to know how to get to the battery under the seat. I did not have luck lifting the seat. Just for kicks, I tried to start it just now, and no cigar.

Thanks for your help in advance in finding/getting to my battery.
